Location: Weston, FL

Working Hours: Monday- Friday 3:30PM- 12:00AM

Pay Rate: $17/ hr

The primary responsibility of this position is to audit the accuracy of the work performed in the Receiving and/or Assembly departments. Function in conjunction with the Quality Supervisor on special department projects and company ISO9001/AS9100, Military Statutory & Regulatory and Government contract compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Audit Assembly documentation for conformance. Including drawings, travelers and Work Orders.
• Read and Interpret Specifications and assembly drawings.
• Prepare plant evaluation reports and submit them to Quality Manager.
• Determine overall plant product quality by conducting and evaluating various product inspections and testing.
• Initiate Non-Conformance Reports as required.
• May educate and instruct plant personnel in recommended quality control testing, equipment and general safety and housekeeping practices. Confirm these procedures are being maintained.
• Confirm that plant procedures and policies are adhered to IAW AS9100/ISO9001 standards, Military Statutory & Regulatory and/or Government contract requirements.
• Assist in development of special department projects and work in conjunction with Quality Supervisor.
• Accept responsibility of training and preparing new employees for this position.
• Function as an information source for other LexTM3 departments when critical quality issues arise.

• Work overtime when needed.
• Perform other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED or 3 years work experience in this field.
• Working knowledge and use of inspection documentation/tools.
• Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO9001.
• Maintenance of a good attendance record in order to complete work assignments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Etc.). Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.
• Good math skills; proficiency in algebra desired.
• Precise attention to detail and good organization skills.
• Must have effective communication skills, verbal, written.
• Ability to be adaptable & flexible to changing workplace priorities.
• Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High sense of urgency.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and projects.
• Ability to work independently using procedures.
• Good analytical skills.
