Description:

We are looking for a Bilingual Operations Compliance Specialist I to join the Team and provide customer service to policy owners and independent consultants across multiple lines of insurance (life, health, accident, and annuity) and multiple companies operating within the Citizens, Inc. group of companies. Work is performed at the corporate headquarters in Austin, TX located in the Domain. The Bilingual Operations Compliance Specialist reports directly to the Operations Compliance Supervisor. Essential Job Duties: 1. Provides clerical assistance and communicates with Independent Consultants (IC) by telephone, mail, fax, and e-mail. 2. Processes various requests from policy owners, associates, and other departments. 3. Researches and responds to IC questions and problems related to Third party payments. 4. Performs accurate documentation of case work. 5. Audit assigned cases. 6. Cross train with other areas of the department 7. Prioritizes work and manages multiple tasks and assignments. 8. Performs other related duties/ projects as required and assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: 1. A high school diploma, GED, or associate degree. 2. Proficient in the Spanish language, native speakers preferred. 3. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. 4. At least one year of clerical experience. 5. Bilingual (English /Spanish/Portuguese) Preferred Qualifications: 1. Customer Service experience. 2. Insurance Industry experience.
