Job description

MSR-FSR is looking for an Electrical QA/QC with an I&C background to join our team! Individuals must have previous experience in a semiconductor fab or subfab environment.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Participation in design reviews, providing constructability feedback to contracted engineering firms, and providing input to design package schedules to support an integrated construction schedule
  • Ensure that the installing contractor has met customer and industry standard installation requirements
  • Overall responsible for the safe and successful completion of the Instrumentation & Controls scope of work to ensure projects are completed with the highest degree of accuracy and success
  • Work with superintendents and foremen to plan, and organize activities concerned with construction projects
  • Confer with supervisors and foremen to discuss such matters as work procedures, complaints and construction problems
  • Complete all QA documentation and any other reports that are required for the project
  • Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, NCR’s, and closures of issues
  • Inspect and support testing of I&C systems
  • Work with and communicate effectively with subcontractors, superintendents, office staff, engineering staff, consultants, and owner's representatives to facilitate project activities
  • Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings
  • Perform final QA inspection on I&C
  • Answering questions of a technical nature during project execution
  • Validate that equipment and overall system OAT/FAT process meets expectations
  • Review with system owner and provide technical verification of hardware and configuration of installations per design documents

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of Electrical QA/I&C Experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the Semiconductor Industry
  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Journeyman experience preferred
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for all aspects of I&C systems
  • Effective at managing design, construction, and start-up of low voltage power distribution systems
  • Strong working knowledge related to NEC & electrical code requirements. Familiarity with the scoping and detailed design of process control (Ladder Logic, BMS and SCADA) and System Integration systems, control device selection, LAN and WAN solutions and data handling (wired and wireless) solutions and data polling, archiving and historical storage solutions. Highly proficient at P&ID programming and controls algorithms, single point of failure analysis and building control design for semi-conductor facilities
