Position Summary:
Utility resource to assist in various operations within production. Responsible for developing and executing demand, production and inventory plans that will enable the organization to meet sales and service objectives. Lead multiple committees in safety and collect data to review OPEX goals and objectives. Analysis of data to share with management monthly. Apply knowledge of demand management, capacity planning, scheduling, and process improvement in support of the company’s strategic objectives. Implement a strategy that effectively analyzes, communicates, and executes the short, medium- and long-term production scheduling objectives to meet on-time delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support for writing PAR’s for equipment in production
Safety Champion for various projects within the plant
Collect and distribute monthly safety steering committee data
Verify and audit monthly sustainability data
Conduct camera system monitoring to gather video footage for events that need to be reviewed by management.
Provide statistics based on data from the Daily Integration boards & work directly with OPEX leader
Conduct Audits for equipment in production
Perform IT ticket entries into the portal and assist with computer related issues to the extent allowed by IT administrative approvals.
Coordinate production activities and distribution of products. Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities using inventory control procedures.
Interact with multiple departments to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
Preparing work schedules and help assign specific duties. Conduct or attend staff meetings.
Help coordinate production activities and scheduling to increase efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
D Shift Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requirements:
Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods
Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Experience working in a team environment
Requires attention to detail and being thorough in completing work tasks
Ability to define problems; collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors
Knowledge and ability to use Syteline and/or Amtech.
