A successful candidate will also have a high standard of quality, keen attention to detail and ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times.

This role will have two consistent days off per week, although it will require a minimum of one weekend day per week.

  • Coordinate on-site vaccination clinics (e.g. flu, COVID, rabies, Hep A/B, etc)
  • Administer immunizations as needed based on physician orders and vaccination protocols
  • Develop and maintain public health education resources for leaders and cast members
  • Assess Cast Members who present with illness or injury, make a determination of occupational vs. non-occupational mechanism, and perform necessary treatment.
  • Perform regulatory-required medical surveillance exams, as indicated by current OHSA standards
  • Document and maintain accurate, detailed records for Cast Members in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA)
  • Lead/participate in Disney’s Resort Health and Safety programs
  • Interact and collaborate with key partners, including Physicians, fellow nurses, Wellness Team, Workers Compensation and Safety.

Qualifications

  • Minimum. 3+ years Registered Nurse Experience
  • Current Florida RN license, current CPR Certification, and physical ability to perform all procedures

  • Knowledge of OSHA and Worker’s Compensation regulations, record keeping and procedures
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time to walk, lift, squat, push, pull and/or carry heavy objects, up to 25 lbs.
  • Excellent hearing and ability to see, and full use of hands for patient assessment and to control, handle or feel objects and tools

  • Willingness and ability to work in a team environment
  • Scrupulously protects patient confidentiality
  • Flexibility to work on holidays/weekends, as well as occasional overtime
