We are looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The PMHNP will provide a variety of mental health services, including diagnosis, treatment, and medication management, to patients with mental health issues. The qualified candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a psychiatric outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat acute, chronic and episodic mental illnesses
• Prescribe medications to treat conditions while monitoring patients' progress and response to treatment
• Educate patients and families on mental health issues and available treatments
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and agencies
• Participate in the development of patient care plans

Requirements:

• Master's degree in nursing with a specialization in psychiatry or related field.
• Current active license to practice in Nevada.
• Licensed by the Nevada Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances
• New Grad's are welcome to apply.
• Must be able to credential with Medicare and Medicaid ( Already Credentialed a +)
• Malpractice Insurance. (possibly reimbursable)
• Complete charts within a reasonable time frame.

Skills

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not necessary.
• Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Kareo a +)
• Incorporates professional/ legal standards into practice.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Local contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
