Property Manager On-Site

Chimney Pond Farm is seeking a PROPERTY MANAGER with a strong emphasis on maintenance who will oversee operations on-site. This is less of an office job than it is a labor intensive position. We are an 80 acre Christmas Tree Farm and Wedding Venue with on-site accommodations located in Glenville, North Carolina. This is for a full-time, salaried position.

Property:

  • Glenville North Carolina
  • 3 houses, one apartment, 3 cabins and a wedding venue

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Scope of Work: Responsible for oversight of property, including day to day maintenance and small renovation projects, purchasing and working within budget, handling property issues, general plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills, interaction with vendors, etc.
  • Resident Relations: Maintain a positive, customer service-oriented approach to management with a goal of meeting guest’s needs.
  • Leadership & Supervision: Direct construction projects to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Administrative: Keeping an organized and detailed description of projects and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience.
  • An analytical mind to evaluate challenges and recommend an appropriate course of action.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with various groups (on-site staff, vendors, guests).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
