CPARC is hiring a full time Property and Fleet Manager at our main office in Carlisle with a starting pay rate of $13.88 per hour. The Property and Fleet Manager oversees the management of Residential properties and vehicles, and assures that they are properly maintained.

GENERAL DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Director of Residential Services, the Property and Fleet Manager is responsible for:

Ensures quality of maintenance at all physical sites and conducts visual inspections of all Residential properties at least annually. Reports any concerns to the Director of Residential Services.

Coordinates maintenance requests from all programs, prioritizes, batches and enters requests into 1st Advantage's Rentec system. Monitors the requests to ensure the work is completed.

Communicates to appropriate staff when landlords need to be contacted regarding a maintenance issue beyond our internal responsibility.

Obtains required bids, communicates with contractors and ensures proper permits are obtained when necessary for large property maintenance projects.

Coordinate and assist with volunteer group projects (i.e. United Way Day of Caring, Church groups, and community organizations).

Ensures that well water tests are completed on a quarterly basis, that the water is of acceptable quality, and the results are documented

Ensures that furnace cleaning and inspections are completed, fire extinguishers are replaced and alarm systems are inspected on an annual basis, with the results maintained for licensing purposes.

Coordinates maintenance of vehicles, ensuring that inspections, oil changes, tire rotation, and repairs are completed in a timely manner. Completes monthly inspections for vehicles assigned to the office for Administrative use.

Schedules and ensures completion of routine maintenance of equipment used for snow removal and lawn maintenance (snow blowers, lawn tractors and mowers).

Complete and maintain inventory of all CPARC owned items in garages, and storage areas in all Residential buildings. Arrange for disposal of unwanted items.

Serves on agency Health and Safety Committee.

Applies for grants for property improvements and vehicles when appropriate.

Performs other tasks as assigned

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or its equivalent. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent organization skills. Experience with basic home repair and vehicle maintenance is helpful.
