We currently have and opening for a Project Manager to work in our corporate office located in downtown Fayetteville, N.C. Positions will require travel up to 50% of time in the US and internationally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing management of all aspects of our construction projects through its entire life cycle; procurement, award, design development, buy-out, execution and closeout. Location: Fayetteville, NC

Security Clearance: current Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance

Responsibilities:

· Business Development and Proposal support

· Support recruiting and personal development plans for direct reports

· Management of Projects through full its full lifecycle to include:

o Project design-development, budgeting, scheduling, buy-out, shipping logistics, execution and close-out

· Responsible for managing contractual commitments and ensuring jobsite compliance with contractual requirements

· Developing solutions to project issues that arise

· Establishing and maintain customer & vendor relationships

· Job cost forecasting and reporting to include:

o Financial forecasting

o Project cost to complete

· Management of Safety, Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans

· Identify and communicate issues to leadership team as required to ensure the success of the project

· Ensure compliance with SSU Standard Operating Procedures

Qualifications:

· Prior success as a project manager with an established construction contractor.

· (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent

· (Preferred) Certifications:

o Project Management Professional (PMP)

o Site Safety Health Officer (SSHO) w/30 Hr OSHA

o Construction Surveillance Technician (CST)

· 5- 8 years of experience managing projects through their complete lifecycle

· Experience in managing teams

· Excellent communication skills

· Success in client relationships

· Self-motivated

· Ability to prioritize and manage time

· Experience managing risk

· Software experience (Preferred):

o MS Office

o Primavera P6 & MS Project

o Autocad/Revit

o RMS

o Prolog

· Current active US Passport (required)
