Lockheed Martin Space in Cape Canaveral, FL is seeking a full-time Entry Level Project Manager. In this role, you will have the ability to serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
• Willing and able to travel as required.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with the customer.
• Excellent communicator both written and orally.
• Demonstrated business acumen.
• Project management experience
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, capable of relationship building with customers and employees at all levels and across multiple geographic locations.
• Desire to enhance Program Management skills including communication, the ability to deal with unforeseen challenges, building strong relationships, and be a change agent for managing our projects better.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
