This position is on site at our Cullowhee (or Biltmore) campus.
Serve as the Project Coordinator for a project implementing a program (Bingocize) in 45 NC certified nursing facilities (CNFs) statewide over the next 3 years, including CNF staff (4 per CNF) receive the requisite training.
Be accountable for the overall project implementation and evaluation.
Help CNF staff develop internal policies and procedures for cleaning, storage, and replacement of the program equipment.
Attend/schedule trainings.
Be available to participating CNFs to answer questions, problem solve.
Oversee fidelity checks of participating CNFs.
Supervise a PT hourly staff person who will be providing support to Project Coordinator for project implementation
Communicate with/support partnering faculty from WCU, UNC-Pembroke, and UNC-Charlotte regarding their student placements at the participating CNFs
Attend regular meetings.
Serve as the contact with Western Kentucky U (home of Bingocize)
Manage the project’s website.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
Awareness of protocols for WCU internal paperwork, including travel reimbursement.

Professional communication skills
Grant reporting
Understanding of evidence based health promotion programs and implementation
Minimum Qualifications
Prior project coordination experience.
Some graduate school training
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of prior project coordination experience
Graduate degree
Understanding/exposure to grants management in higher education
