Moog, Inc. is looking for a Programmer Analyst to code, test, debug, document and implement new IMS systems, and perform maintenance and enhancements to existing systems within the Aircraft and Space & Defense Groups.

The Programmer Analyst (PA) may also be involved in assisting other IMS personnel with the analysis and design of new systems or maintenance/enhancements to existing systems. The PA will generally be assigned to specific areas of a project by a Project Leader or Systems Analyst. By following the guidelines in the IMS Systems and Procedure documents, the PA will produce the necessary deliverables (end products) of the assigned tasks.

As a Programmer Analyst, you will…

• Develop, modify, and maintain internally developed solutions.
• Implement to production and support end users on internally developed solutions.
• Adhere to current Moog development standards and coding best practices.
• Properly document application lifecycle details by adhering to current documentation best practices.
• Support the deployment, implementation and support of hardware systems as required.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Coordinate multiple IT functions.

Minimum Qualifications to be considered…

• Typically, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other IT related discipline and 2 years’ experience in application development or an equivalent field is required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• A foundation in understanding of manufacturing and supply chain with respect to IT solutions.
• Demonstrated skills in technical translation to end-user community.
• Relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience of IT technology platforms and software development methodologies.
• Proven capability and experience of working collaboratively in a multicultural, geographically dispersed environment.
• Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience.

Preferred Qualifications include…

• Experience in manufacturing, Supply Chains, or APICS certification highly desirable.
• Experience with .NET development is preferred.
• Experience with SQL database programming is preferred.
• Experience with ETL development is preferred.
