Job Description:
- Perform analytic projects and tasks according to the established schedules and timelines to ensure product quality and prompt delivery of solutions and related reports to clients, both internal and external.
- Manage inquiries of intermediate difficulty from external clients and internal users; gather and share information needed to facilitate complete and accurate responses in a timely fashion.
- Leverage prior experience and intermediate domain knowledge to identify and escalate potential production-related issues; provide support to troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues.
- Analyze product data sets and log files to support client inquiries, ad-hoc requests, issue resolution, and project work.
- Create reports; research and analyze data and report trends and communicate vital information to management, business partners, and external clients.
- Identify opportunities to improve established processes, procedures, and standards for efficiency and compliance with current best practices and guidelines.
- Maintain process documentation in accordance with established standards.
- Provide technical assistance and cross-training to team members, as requested.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a concentration in mathematics, engineering, natural sciences, economics or statistics preferred.
- 3-5 years of directly related experience.
- Strong data analysis and data quality skills, including data extraction, data manipulation, and reporting, required.
- Demonstrated success in effective communication, both verbal and written, is required. Demonstrated success in interfacing with external clients is preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required.
- Proficiency in SQL is required.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g. Python) is required.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Platform) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others in a cross-functional organization required.
- Organization, accountability, and high attention to detail are required.
- Familiarity with Catastrophic Risk Models and/or Insurance Linked Securities is a bonus.
Annual Pay Range:
90,100 - 120,000 USD
