Production Supervisor

Looking for a Production Supervisor in the Pioneer, TN area! An automotive manufacturer that believes the success of each and every employee will bring further progress in growth.

Mon-Fri 5pm-5am

Pay- $55,000 annually

• Coordinate with Manufacturing Technicians and the Manufacturing manager regarding work priorities, instruction, and needs

• Hold daily meetings with Manufacturing Technicians and others as required to communicate needs and priorities

• Maintain a safe / clean work area; ensure 5S is performed timely and effectively

• Provide direction and support for Manufacturing Technicians and other manufacturing members

• Ensure daily reports, scrap records, and quality documentation is used and completed correctly

• Create / maintain records of individual and team performance to goals; provide feedback accordingly

• Verify all processes are running efficiently at target or above levels

• Submit daily report of activities and achievements to Shift Supervisor

• Attend required meetings and report status of assigned area(s)

• Participate in kaizen events and activities as scheduled

• Initiate and complete NCR’s and manage containment activities in a timely manner

• Train to fill Shift Supervisor’s position in event of absence

• Ensure effective and timely communication is performed between shifts and with Maintenance, Quality, others

• Ensure conformance to training schedules and requirements for all assigned personnel

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or certificate is preferred

Minimum of three years’ experience in manufacturing / leadership

Proven leadership / organizational skills

Must be able to lift / push / pull 50 lbs.

Technical Competencies:

Mechanical understanding and dexterity

Basic computer skills / experience:

• MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, others)
