DMSI is hiring a Distribution Center Area Supervisors for an established, Fortune 500 retailer with distribution warehouse operations within the Moreno Valley / Perris area. Experience Requirements:

• Prefer lengthy tenure at previous employers (stable work history).
• 2nd shift position
• A minimum of 3-5 years in a warehouse/distribution/manufacturing environment at a Supervisor/Management capacity.
• Responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of 10-40 Hourly Associates of varying classifications, including Marker, Packer, Splitter, Inductor, Loader/Unloader, Material Handler.
• Experience in managing a diverse workforce, with the ability to drive results while encouraging/motivating positive employee relations.
• Knowledgeable in conducting daily huddle meetings, performance evaluations, and disciplinary meetings.
• Experience in process improvement, efficiencies, and lean methodology, related to production standards and quality. Ensured rapid, accurate, movement and processing of merchandise using established-Engineered methods and standards.
• Must be computer literate with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Experience within a high-volume distribution environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong written and verbal communication and organization skills are necessary. Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
• Familiarity with the following technical equipment: radio frequency/bar code scanners, and Rapid Pak System.
• Articulate with solid communication and organizational skills.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
