Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Production Planner to join our team. As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for the daily planning of processing requirements to meet current sales orders and short-term sales projections. You will work closely with the plant operations team to track the effectiveness of the production plan and ensure that it meets those plans.

You will utilize the NetSuite ERP system to create production orders and review inventory to determine aging products and communicate with the sales team. You will lead daily operations meetings to review metrics and performance and communicate the direction for product with the inventory and warehouse team. You will also work with the live production planner to determine weekly supply needs and review future production plans to communicate with procurement needed packaging.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Agricultural, or Business and 5+ years of experience in plant planning. Proficiency with MS Office software is required, and experience with NetSuite ERP system is a strong plus. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential, as is a strong attention to detail to ensure all work processes are accurate. Math skills are also important to make sure all calculations are correct and avoid any unforeseen losses for the company.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
