Shift Hours:

1st shift 7am until finish

2nd shift 4pm until finish

Job duties and Responsibilities

Scanners review all the Taylor Farms FG items and process them moving them to the processing / shipping area and scanning their barcode. They use RF scanners to ensure that all orders and inventory are accurately tracked

· Basic math skills: Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

· Demonstrates basic material handling/ packaging /warehouse equipment skills

· Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly, walking, using stairs and standing for long period of time.

· Self-motivated with ability to work in a team-oriented environment with limited supervision and an emphasis on customer satisfaction

· High School Diploma and be 18 years old or more

- Receive all the finished good boxes at Pack out area, scan product with RF scanner, and input product information into the RF scanning system.

- Assist to wrap the pallets, add straps to them and move the pallets to the shipping area.

- Organize, prepare, and transfer all the subcomponents that will be used in production area.

- Scan and place labels on products as necessary

- Hand stacking product in a specific sequence and location on a pallet for shipment

- Conduct repacks as required

- Operate electric pallet jack equipment as needed

- Observes safe product handling techniques and assist the pack-out area in packaging items as needed.

Work environment

· Full time position

· Must be willing to work in refrigerated environment – Cold/Wet 38°F

· Must be able to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as scheduled or needed.

· Must work in a professional and courteous manor with subordinates and peers.

· Open to work in a diverse work environment.

Education/ Experience

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.

- Must have 3 to 6 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.

- The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

- Employee must submit to post offer, pre-employment drug test and employment history check.

- Employee must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
