Production Manager

Job Descriptions and Qualifications

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of management and work experience in food manufacturing environment or related field
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Directly supervising production supervisors and employees in the facility, including training, scheduling, and disciplining
• Ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining product quality.
• Communicating daily with QA department to ensure product quality is consistently met.
• Strict adherence to good manufacturing practices.
• Focusing on employee’s safety and well being
• Assisting in plant audit and inspection
• Ensuring adherence to industry standard’s safety and legal guidelines
• Reviewing and signing off all food safety related documents
• Member of facility’s Food Safety/HACCP team
• Member of facility’s food defense team
• Acting as a back support person for various departments inclusive of Shipping & Receiving, Maintenance, Sanitation, Packaging and Quality Assurance.
• This is a hands-on role that can require longer hours and the right candidate will be a self-starter with an innate sense for manufacturing optimization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,491.68 - $75,000.00 per year
