Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinating production workflow for one or multiple products.
• Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
• Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
• Drafts, revises, and distributes production work orders.
• Identifies problems in workflows, determines required solutions and improvements, and implements necessary modifications in affected departments and teams.
• Collects and analyzes data regarding efficiency and timeliness of production.
• Maintains or assists with maintenance of inventories; orders supplies for necessary production.
• Enter, vet, and reconcile work orders in MRP.
• Serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with customer service, logistics, and manufacturing departments.
• Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs.
• Periodically compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgment to anticipate demand.
• Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments.
• Performs other related duties, as required.
