We are looking for a Part-Time Production Assistant to support all aspects of Signage and Graphics production. The position offers a flexible schedule that is approximately 24 hours per week but can grow into a full time position for the right candidate.

Please Note: This is a light production position. There are no plans to add design capabilities.

Our company offers use of company vehicles, a mobile telephone and up to two weeks of paid vacation per year based on an accruing basis. We also offer lunch on Fridays.

You will be counted on for various crucial tasks, from organizing production and installation schedules while insuring the final products we produce are of the highest quality. High energy and commitment are essential. If you are a restless individual who can multi-task, solve problems and do things proactively, you’ll quickly become invaluable. The goal is to ensure production gets on smoothly and problem-free while striving to delight our clients.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare customer products and assemble same.
• Travel (locally) to perform light installations. On occasion, the use of small power tools (heat gun, hand-drill) or a ladder will be required.
• Assist the production director with scheduling and provide creative solutions for challenging installations
• Ensure paperwork accuracy and communicate changes or issues that may arise from actual or potential planning errors.
• Perform some administrative work (answering phones, paperwork etc.)
• Undertake errands as assigned

Skills

• A desire to learn and act as a team player
• Comfortable interfacing with clients at installation sites.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving
• Great communication skills
• A valid driver’s license
• High school diploma; Relevant training (e.g. signage manufacturing) will be an advantage. A willingness to lean some of the easier software we use will also be considered a plus.
• We are willing to train a candidate that is mechanically inclined but does not have sign making experience - It's actually a fun skill to learn!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
