Testing and Compliance Associate

Salary Range $48K-$53K

Fulltime position – Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

Testing and compliance experience, preferably in accessories.

Able to read technical information and disseminate into layman terms along with critical thinking and problem solving.

Knowledge of US regulatory testing and compliance for children’s product lines a plus.

Full Job description:

• Maintain process for product testing that will allow for company growth and compliance
• On time product testing for required accounts
• Forwarding results to customers as required or requested
• Resolve failed results with the vendor and follow up on re-testing to maintain delivery
• Stay informed of any changes in customer testing or regulatory requirements
• Maintain multiple Product Testing grid for company wide use

Daily and Continuous Expectations:

• Work with vendors for on time submissions to qualified labs to avoid delays in delivery
• Read and reply to all emails from labs and suppliers regarding testing matters
• If results have failed that will cause a delay in the shipment, notify appropriate departments of the delay
• Work with vendor on failed results to rectify the failures
• Follow customer requirements on receipt of passing results
• Issue GCC or COC as required
• Share the test report with the customer if required
• Once per month, or as needed, go on customer’s website to get any updates that will affect order processing for testing
• Notify Manager of any changes in process
• Negotiate product testing costs with required labs to reduce cost to company
• Approve testing invoices from vendors to process for payment
• Supply testing quotes to sales as requested
• Maintaining testing quotes to verify quotes were accurate
• Remain up to date on all US regulation – EU as required
• Able to research any new requirements as they arise from our customers.
• Take initiative to improve processes as the business changes
• Able to handle large volume of data for multiple accounts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
