What You Will Be Doing
- Obligated to ensure regional, technical department in Germany, and partners globally (CARIAD, Wireless Car) are in agreement with, for example, the delta technical product description TPB NAR related to Connected Service SW development roadmap and PI planning of the MEB vehicles.
- Establish connections with important decision-makers and other influential individuals (internal and external) who support the definition and continuous maintenance of connected services, including the software and backend platform for delivering features and functionalities.
- Coordinate additional ecosystem participants by asking the Connected Services Content Development Manager to find new technical collaborators and develop long-term partnerships.
- Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of products, including the integration of solutions, features, and modification requests.
- Responsible to oversee technology scope, timing, costs and quality for the projects and initiate corrective measure as necessary.
- Identify all associated costs for implementation of function and ensure it is funded (B2B, B2C, priced with vehicle)
- Ensure Legal, Security Compliance, SIM Connectivity, SW release versions, Service and Device Platform requirements are evaluated and accounted for in the overall program

What You Need for this Position
- 10+ years Technical Product Management experience
- >3 years Systems/Software Engineering
- Automotive experience required
- Integration of end-to-end systems: electric vehicle, charging and battery systems, backend and frontend
- Experience working with service oriented architectures
- 2 years of experience as a product owner in the connectivity, infotainment or ADAS domains
Management Competencies:
- Experience with end-to-end / cloud-based teams and their application
- People development & management
- Team leadership of technical resources
- Strategic Agility
Specialized Skills - Required:
- Technical deep background in automotive engineering and electrification
- Quick application of new technical features to ensure high innovation agility
- Experience presenting and answering to Executive management/ board level
- Experience in development of vehicle electrical systems, including electronic and electric areas and functions
- Understanding of vehicle development processes
