Location

The position is located at the Company’s corporate headquarters in Vienna, Ohio.

Reporting Relationships

The Product Line Manager will report directly to the SBU President and will work closely with SBU General Managers and Leadership Team to oversee and coordinate all internal and external product line management activities and ensure the proper product line planning and infrastructure is in place to support the SBU, Company and its objectives, mission and values.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Work closely with Co-President, Chief Financial Officer and SBU Controllers and Leadership Team to lead and oversee all relevant product line development strategy and management from business concept, planning and market research through business and financial model implementation and execution and achievement of desired minimum financial and Free Cash Flow results.

- Implement and execute approved plans in all phases to achieve desired program EBITDA and Free Cash Flow results.

  • Working with internal and external stakeholders, develop product line business plan and financial models including identification of customer needs, market research and Market Requirements Document (MRD), specific product line requirements and specifications and Product Requirements Document (PRD), capital requirements, engineering and production requirements and critical path for product introduction.
  • Determine optimal locations across Millwood platform for new Product Line opportunities.
  • Evaluate, plan, execute all risk management, insurance, zoning and licensing requirements related to new programs.
  • Investigate and obtain all federal, state and local grants, matching funds, tax abatements and economic support programs available for business and capital investments in various locations. This includes working with federal, state and local Economic Development offices and authorities.
  • Working with SBU leaders, sales and corporate communication, develop go to market branding and communication strategy and execution of maintain consistency of strategy across the Millwood platform.
  • In specific situations, be prepared to develop go to market strategy including building program specific Sales Teams.
  • Working with SBU and Sales Team leaders, develop, implement and execute sales penetration and market share capture strategies.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communication and / or Sales Team to prepare information or promotional materials to assist in sales efforts.
  • Act as trusted member of Leadership Team to confidentially discuss, collaborate, evaluate and develop new strategic, tactical and structural product line development plans and strategies.
  • Work with corporate communication to develop and oversee corporate website to ensure relevance and timeliness of content and consistency of branding aligned with Millwood’s mission and pillars.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, Certification, Licenses, Registration

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, accounting, production and operations management, marketing or equivalent degree in related field is required.
  • Eight or more years of experience in business with demonstrated competence in P&L / income statement responsibility and management fulfilling the role for previous companies.
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
  • Experience in product development, program management and / or project management preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
