Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a Procurement Officer Assistant in the Office of Procurement, Disbursements, and Contract Services.
Qualified candidates must have:
- 6 months of work experience performing duties such as preparing and requesting quotations, expediting, returned goods, and/or resolving billing; OR
- 30 semester hours of college credit for coursework in any field; OR
- any combination of experience and education totaling 6 months.
Preferred requirements include being customer service-oriented, a team player, possessing high ethics, willing and able to learn quickly and adapt to ever-changing rules and regulations, and must be able to work independently in a fast-paced work environment.
The Civil Service examination for this classification is a credentials assessment. No participation other than a submission of applicant materials is required from qualified applicants.
