This position will exemplify the LLUHS Mission, Vision and Values to support and implement the Core Pillars of the Strategic Plan: World Class Distinction, Quality & Service Excellence, Teamwork & Synergy, Partnerships, and Leadership & Stewardship The Manager of Process Improvement (PI) is responsible for the development, evaluation, and implementation of process improvement initiatives in collaboration with Primary Care Management, and other LLUHS Departments. Manages, facilitates, and monitors Primary Care clinics’ process improvement projects. Provides consultation and leadership for key strategic initiatives that have significant impact on process improvement. Provides support to key transformational initiatives and will work closely with providers, Primary Care management and leadership. Performs other duties as needed.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field required. Minimum of three years of experience in quality improvement, consulting, operations/process analysis, or implementing broad-based initiatives in the clinical back office is required. Minimum of five years of additional experience is accepted in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.

Able to keyboard 40 wpm. Able to use a computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.

Valid driver’s license required at time of hire.
