The Process Engineer - Plant is a 12-24 months contract position working for a specialty chemical client
in the El Dorado, AR area.
The Process/Plant Engineer is responsible for executing new capital projects and troubleshooting existing processes within the various company facilities. The Process/Plant Engineer will be responsible for ensuring assigned projects are being completed on time and on budget. These projects will range from minor facility maintenance projects to large capital improvement projects.

Process Engineer Position Duties:
- Process Engineer provides technical and management assistance on capital projects.
- Develop and approve PFDs, and P&IDs.
- Oversee installation and construction of new projects.
- Conduct PHAs and PSSRs.
- Prepare plant reports.
- Prepare capital estimates and obtain approval for projects
- Assist in budgeting, man-powering, scheduling and forecasting on projects.
- Process Engineer manages capital projects or certain aspects within large projects/programs with minimum supervision.
- Prepare scope of project, identification of equipment for sourcing, oversee installation and construction of new projects.
- Comply with facility procedures and policies.
Process Engineer Position Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with process experience is preferred.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in a specialty chemical facility or refinery is preferred, but not required.
- Proven experience with project management is preferred.
- Previous experience with key engineering skills such as equipment sizing, heat and mass balance calculations, development of PFDs and P&IDs is preferred.
- Candidates with "ties" to the North Louisiana and/or South Arkansas area are preferred.
- Candidates must be located within daily commuting distance of El Dorado, AR. or be willing to relocate to the El Dorado, AR. area during the week (per diem will be provided for days worked for non-local candidates).
