Position Summary

The Process Engineer will be responsible for development and approval of process equipment designs and specifications for all assigned projects. They will have the overall responsibility to ensure the focus on the safety, delivery, and practicality of the process portions of assigned projects. They will manage or supervise management of installations at the plants and mines.

Responsibilities

· Safety - Maintain and promote a safe working environment for all employees.

· Project Management - Coordination between the construction team and other functions; engineering, sourcing/contracting, project controls and risk management including coordination of commissioning and handover activities into operations.

· Analytics - Analyse and make independent recommendations regardingsolutions to construction issues.

· Design - Providetechnical interpretation of design documents in support of construction contractors.

Qualifications

· Process engineering for mineral processing facilities experience is required.

· Experience reviewing process engineer designs is required.

· Experience working with engineering companies is preferred.

· Proficiency using engineering software is preferred.

Pay: $83,312.00 - $102,890.00 per year
