Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our team. As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our automated lines processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechatronics or a related field, a strong understanding of process improvement methodologies, and certification in Six Sigma.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency enhancement.
  • Develop and implement process improvement plans to optimize production output and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all automated lines are functioning optimally and perform preventive maintenance as required.
  • Monitor production performance metrics and develop strategies to address process bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for cost savings, waste reduction, and quality improvement.
  • Provide training and support to production teams to ensure proper operation of automated lines.
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
  • Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management on process improvement initiatives and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechatronics or a related field, or equivalent experience in process improvement in an industrial environment.
  • Certification in Six Sigma methodology.
  • Experience in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of automated lines processes.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret production data and develop solutions to process problems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and prioritize issues for resolution.
  • Familiarity with process improvement tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Total Quality Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Availability for occasional travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
