We’d love for you to become our next Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) at our 434-bed regional referral center and tertiary-care facility. We offer a work environment that fosters growth, perfect for a nurse looking to move into higher acuity care, or for an experienced nurse looking to make a change. Schedule: 6:30p - 7:00a, must work 4 shifts within a 6 week period.

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Performs various patient tests, a variety of tasks, and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
• Associate's degree required with an active, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.
• Familiarity with cardiac concepts, practices, and procedures is highly preferred
