Embodied Recovery provides PHP and IOP levels of care to individuals struggling with addiction and mental health challenges. Responsibilities include:

· Facilitate 60-120 minute group sessions with no more than 6-8 clients

· Provide individual addiction counseling and case management sessions (2-3 per week)

· Complete assessments, documentation of group and individual sessions, treatment plans, discharge plans, utilization reviews, and other relevant documentation.

· Collaborate in team meetings

· Learn and Participate in Embodied Recovery's Empowered Living Teaching Series

· Practice Sundo (a Korean, Taoist form of yoga, chi gong, and meditation) with staff and clients daily

· Facilitate drug testing

· Attend staff trainings and workshops

· Support the team with administrative needs

· Attend Marketing opportunities if interested and available

An ideal candidate:

· Is a certified addiction counselor level 1 or greater

· Has interest and/or experience in 12 step recovery: AA, NA, Al-Anon, ACA, CODA or other 12-step community

· Possesses a strong dedication to personal growth

· Demonstrates effective communication skills

· Has a solid understanding of personal and professional boundaries

· Holds self to a high standard of ethics

· Has experience with, or a willingness to learn the teachings of John Bradshaw, Joseph Campbell, Carl Jung, Fritz Perls, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Charles Whitfield, Eugene Gendlin, Pia Mellody, Peter Levine, Ekhart Tolle, Don Miguel Ruiz, Tara Brach and others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
