President and CEO –

Community Nursing Services (CNS) Home Health and Hospice has a once in a lifetime opportunity for a qualified individual to work with the best employees in the state of Utah taking care of the best patients. CNS was founded in 1928 and is the oldest non-profit home health agency in the state of Utah with additional service lines providing pharmacy, respiratory and immunizations to the state of Utah. CNS partnered with the University of Utah Health Systems 3 years ago to strengthen the long term future of CNS.

The following are minimum qualifications for the position:

- 10 years experience in home health, hospice, pharmacy and Respiratory

- Work closely with the CNS Board of Directors and CEO of University hospital

- Ability to manage diversification of service lines

- Relationship building with payers and professionals in the work place is essential

- Work closely with the U of U and their Population Health department

- Graduate degree in any field, preferably in health care

- Working experience in the state of Utah

- Knowledgeable of reimbursement models with all payers, in particular Medicare and Medicaid.

- Look to expand into neighboring states, Idaho and Wyoming

- Experience in fund raising activities

- Work closely with state and federal associations and government departments

- Have good fiscal experience managing budgets, income statements and overall financial health of the company

- Oversee operation of new hospice house located in Salt Lake City or other related healthcare services
