Job Category: Child Care Duties and Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day care of children;
* Provide the quality of care children need to thrive;
* Plan and prepare for activities in advance so that all necessary supplies are available and ready for the children to use;
Ensure that the center provides a stimulating, developmentally appropriate environment for children;
* Ensure that classrooms and facilities reflect a professional environment;
* Serve as lead teacher for a group of children;
* Implement our Curriculum that is age-appropriate;
* Keep the environment safe, clean and sanitary;
* Prepare snacks as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*good attitude to work
* Eighteen years of age or older;
* Have completed a high school education or the equivalent;
* Have knowledge of child development as evidenced by a professional reference, education, experience, and on-the-job performance;
*can carry more than 10 pounds
* Have written a proof of education and experience including:
* A current child development associate certificate preferred; or
* Have at least one-year experience working with children ages 1 to 12 years old;
* Complete required 30 STARS training within six months of becoming a lead teacher;
* Willingness to teach children in our Curriculum and Washington Guidelines
* First Aid/CPR Card, we provide
* Valid Washington Driver's License or ID
* Blood Borne Pathogens Card, we provide
* Negative TB Test
* Food handlers permit
