Payson Park Preschool is currently seeking an EEC Certified Float Teacher to join our team. Payson Park Preschool's calendar year is consistent with Belmont Public Schools with the same paid school breaks in November (half week), December (one week between Christmas and New Year), February (one week), April (one week), June (one week from June 23 to July 5) and August (3 weeks from August 19 until September 7) and six individual paid school holidays.

It is the intention of Payson Park Preschool to offer a great work-life balance with a total of one month and three weeks of vacation time paid. We strongly believe our teachers need time to renew and recharge in order to offer a supportive and understanding staff, who can provide a developmentally appropriate well-rounded program.

The school director is dedicated to the professional development and career advancements of each staff at Payson and guarantees pay increases in salaries over the years as the program is developing. Whether you have recently earned your Early Childhood Certificate and you are looking to grow your classroom experience, or you are a field veteran and you are looking to grow your leadership skills.

A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE

Eight-hours shift from 8:00am to 5:00pm with 1 hour break in working in close contact with all teachers in implementing our curriculum.

EXPECTATIONS:

The smooth running of the day program was developed by the director, ensuring the safety of the children, and their emotional, social, and educational growth.

Participating in regularly scheduled staff meetings: once a month or otherwise required by the director.

Attendance at staff development workshops in accordance with Department of Early Education and Care regulations requiring a minimum of 20 hours in a school year for a full-time teacher.

Working cooperatively and assisting the teachers in their daily routines in order to better plan and implement class programs under the guidance of the Director.
