Job description
Performance Personnel Services is currently seeking Manufacturing Associates/Production Associates for a leading manufacturer of concrete pipe and precast products in the Southeastern US.
Experience and Skills:
Required Experience:
-
Knowledge of basic tools and their uses -
Concrete, construction or wet cast experience preferred -
Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication) -
Good attendance and positive attitude a must -
Ability and willingness to learn and be trained -
Able to speak and comprehend basic English -
Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure
Ability to Problem Solve
Production Labor Responsibilities:
-
Operate a variety of equipment -
Perform construction and maintenance related work -
Operation of light, medium and heavy equipment like forklift, loader, etc. -
Operation of various hand and power tools -
Stripping and cleaning concrete forms, shovels and equipment -
Form set up, pouring concrete, finishing -
Cut, bend, place and tie steel re-bar -
Prepare steel molds for filling with concrete
Maintain good housekeeping and safety regulations
