Position: Fabricator/Polisher

Reports To: Lead Fabricator

Job Overview: This position will perform daily activities utilizing acquired skills and knowledge to ensure a quality product according to company standards.

Responsibilities

- Review job details with other polishers and shop foreman

- Read paperwork, drawings and job specs

- Polish and fabricate countertops by hand to company standards and to job specs

- Properly read a tape measure, assuring accuracy of product

- Required to maintain a consistent and quality product

- Maintain a clean and organized workplace

- Ability to carry and maneuver heavy tops with lifters and by hand when needed

- Ability to repair a variety of natural stones with various finishes

- Maintain a consistent work schedule (45-55 hrs per week)

Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy stone and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with reasonable accommodation and assistance, and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others. Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Required Skills: Attention to detail, strong organizational and mathematical skills along with a positive attitude, solid work ethic, the desire to learn and the ability to work well with others.

Required Experience: High School diploma and willingness to learn.

Hours: 3:30pm - 11:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

• Asphalt, Concrete & Stone Plant Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)
