Levy & W. is offering a Legal Internship for a student wanting to complete their Practical Legal Training, working remotely.

The firm is committed to the professional development and training of the new generation of lawyers. The firm is a dynamic, fast-growing, progressive digital firm specialising in commercial law for entrepreneurs, start-ups, and SMEs.

The Director has an LLB from the University of Sydney, a Master of International Law from UNSW, and a post-graduate accreditation from Harvard Business School, with 20+ years of combined experience in both the commercial world and in law.

This is an ideal role for those who have strong interests in commercial law, new law, and learning how a digital legal practice or business operates. There will also be a variety of tasks where you will be given the opportunity to utilise other skill sets in addition to legal. The internship will be undertaken remotely, available for an immediate start, and exceptional candidates may be considered for full-time graduate positions once qualified.

Essential selection criteria:

• Must be able to complete 75 days of PLT
• 16-24 hours a week availability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Attention to detail is critical
• Have experience working on commercial contracts
• Can work independently, self-manage, and be accountable
• Passionate, dedicated, hard-working, and with a strong initiative to excel
• Strong written and oral communication skills (fluent English written and spoken)
• A strong desire to practice in the area of commercial law
• Creative, entrepreneurial, innovative, and tech-savvy
• Happy to contribute or learn about other areas of the business such as content creation, business administration, digital marketing
