We are looking for a safety-minded, experienced Asphalt Plant Operator for our Dracut, Massachusetts facility.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
  • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all Brox safety policies and procedures along with pertinent MSHA and OSHA regulations.
  • Primary focuses include startup of asphalt mixing plants for operation through the process of inputting raw aggregate & liquid asphalt materials through a mixing drum.
  • Routine maintenance check of silos.
  • Loading out trucks via the silos for delivery / customer pick-up.
  • Mechanically inclined & ability to climb steps successfully.
  • Must be willing to labor in areas of need.
  • General quarry/asphalt and maintenance work to preserve cleanliness of plant.
  • Work closely with the Quality Control Department to ensure regulations are met.
  • Assist Plant Foreman with stockpile management / inventory of materials.
  • Operate loaders when necessary.
  • Maintain a customer focused attitude and engage with customers to provide them with industry leading service and attention to detail.


Requirements

Here’s what you bring to the table:
  • Asphalt industry / Asphalt Plant Operations related experience is a must.
  • Handle multiple tasks concurrently and perform under pressure while remaining composed.
  • Strictly adhere to safety requirements, policies, and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.
  • Willingness to work additional hours (Over-time, nights, weekends) as needed.
  • Work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors / managers with other duties as required.
  • Provide top-tier service to customers.
  • Knowledge of construction or heavy civil building material products
  • Thorough and detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Willing to work additional hours as needed.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
