Ensure operations sites are being maintained in a safe manner.- Engine oil and compression oil analysis.
- Keep detailed and accurate records.
- Perform repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting on compression packages and various types of pumps.
- Other operations duties as assigned.
- Maintain and repair a variety of pumps, compressors, motors, engines, generator, and other rotating and fixed equipment of all sizes, generally in the plant.
- Coordinate and perform mechanical maintenance and repairs of equipment as needed.
- Work in the proximity of various electrical circuits and machinery in various outside weather conditions.
- Perform Skilled Mechanical duties involving operations, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing natural gas engines (CAT 3616/ Ariel Compressors), compressors, generators and other power driven equipment.
- Inspect engines, compressors and mechanical equipment: diagnose problems and determine extent of necessary repairs; perform repairs and routine preventative maintenance.
- Overhaul, repair and adjust engines, compressors, pumps, motors.
- Maintenance and repair of ignition systems, carburetion equipment, fuel injection systems and emissions control systems.
- Detailed awareness of compressor components including: lubrication systems, shutdown systems, loading and unloading valves, pistons, valves and electrical systems.
- General upkeep of facilities and equipment including: engines/compressors, company vehicle and shop.
