Pit & Quarry Foreman/Operator
Job description
Hughes Bros. is an aggregate and redi-mix concrete supplier and earthwork contractor located in Hampden, Maine, with a team of over 50 employees that serve the Bangor region. We are currently seeking applications for Pit & Quarry Foremen/Operator.
The general overview would be running screening and crushing equipment and running a loader. You will be work on the plant if it goes down. You will maintain stockpiles and keep and eye on product quality. You will perform preventative maintenance on all equipment. You will ensure all paperwork is properly completed.
This ad is for the 2023 Production Season.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Pit & Quarry Mining: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Experienced Miner MSHA Certification (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
