Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital Wellness Center is hiring a Pilates Instructor - Flexi Schedule

Sentara RMH Medical Center, a Magnet designated hospital located in Harrisonburg VA, serves a seven-county area with a population of 218,000 residents. The 238-bed community hospital partnered with the Sentara Healthcare system in May of 2011. Personal trainers welcome new members and guest and partner with clients to evaluate their needs and goals and collaboratively implement safe effective individualized workout plans based on physical abilities, preferences and desired outcomes. Personal Trainers assist members with questions and equipment and actively participate in their clients individual workout journeys. Trainers work to achieve optimal client results by scheduling training sessions, designing workout plans and maintaining training space and equipment. Trainers are responsible for communicating improvement opportunities with the Fitness Manager, participating in team building and growth activities, and working with all of the Wellness team to facilitate the best possible member and guest experience Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred. Certification as a fitness instructor and/or personal trainer from a NCAA accredited organization, such as ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA. Applicable certification for a Pilates Trainer from an accredited organization such as BASI, STOTT, POLE STAR, or Balanced Body. Due to the nature of some Pilates Certifications, Trainers will have 1 year from hire date to complete required number of hands on hours for certification completion. BLS within 90 days of hire.
