Montefiore Einstein Advanced Care is a premier ambulatory diagnostic clinic proudly serving Westchester County. We currently have an exciting opportunity available as a Physician's Assistant that is based out of our Elmsford, NY location.
Job Summary:
To expedite patients throughout Radiology in a timely fashion inlcuding Catscan, MRI, Mammography, and Ultrasound. Obtain relevant history, perform a complete or focused physical exam and procures; previous diagnostic testing rsults.
Responsibilties:
Works collaboratively with all members of multidisciplinary Radiology Department team including Radiology attending physicians, technologists, and patient care technicians. ADA
Facilitates the coordination of complex patient care. ADA
Contrast Injection/Consent Forms/Document lab results ADA
Assists in the coordination of research endeavors and clinical trials, including patient screening, enrollment, and ensuring required diagnostic studies and documentation are appropriate and available for data collection.
Retrieves/stores film collection as needed. Films available for reading and consults.
Participates in the development and monitoring of patients outcome for purposes and quality improvement.
Knowledge of EKG, X-Ray interpretation and protocol for MRI/Catscan/MRI
Promotes own professional growth and development in clinical role.
Knowledge of Pharmacology
Provides outpatient care.
Requirements/Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician's Assistant program
- Registered as a Physician's Assistant in New York State
- NCCPA certified
- BLS & ACLS
- Must obtain 100 credits of approved CME every two years.
- Bachelor's Degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $119,000.00 per year

- clinical: 3 years (Preferred)

- BLS Certification (Preferred)
