As part of the core team in a medical rehab practice, the physical therapist aide promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapy assistance under the supervision of a physical therapist. We are currently looking to fill a position in our Smithtown and Riverhead locations. The Physical Therapy Aide proactively accommodates patients and assists therapists with their therapeutic programs.

This position requires you to work in Smithtown, Westhampton, Sayville, and Riverhead locations.
- Assist physical therapy care by preparing treatment area, patient, equipment, and materials; perform tasks that do not require the license or skill of a Physical Therapist while under the supervision of the therapist.
- Prepare for upcoming therapy sessions by organizing the treatment locations based on the patient's needs and assisting therapists in patient flow management.
- Clean therapy area, set up any necessary equipment, and help assist the patients and therapist during therapy sessions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients.
