INSPIRE SPECIALTY HOSPITAL is 31 bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital. We are looking for an experienced Therapy Tech to work primarily with our ventilator patients in our Liberation From Ventilation Program. This is a full-time position working Monday thru Friday 8 hour shifts. This position is a unique position and we are looking for the needle in the haystack.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Therapy technician resumes responsibility for providing care and assistance with activities of daily living, promoting respiratory recover, within the therapy department. The Rehab aide leads our "LIBERATION FROM VENTILATION" program in conjunction with the Respiratory Department and Clinical staff.

Licenses or Certifications:

CPR Certification

Rehab/Therapy training

1 year experience

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to seek assistance as needed;

Ability to understand and follow through with directions given related to participant care;

Ability to interact in a positive manner and to communicate well with participants, families, co-workers, supervisor, visitors, and other employees.

PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION:

Position has Limited Access to Protected Health Information of participants.

Proficiency or Productivity Standards:

Organize and prioritize tasks and projects

Accurately complete job responsibilities within the specified time constraints to meet the needs of participants, regulatory standards and customer satisfaction

ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:

Lift 50 plus pounds

Frequent walking

Sustained Forward bending in standing

Sustained squat

Kneeling, Push/Pull

Repetitive squat

Full body range of motion

Balance with walking, standing, carrying, moving patients, and equipment, etc.
