Established retail pharmacy is seeking qualified candidates with experience for a position providing Pharmacy Technician services to Gallatin, TN.

QUALIFICATIONS

1-3 years of full-time experience within the last 5 years as a pharmacy technician is preferred but NOT MANDATORY.

Job Requirements & Duties

Consideration will be given to those with excellent customer service and personal skills.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for pharmacy, assisting patients with their medication and insurance needs, proficient computer skills, excellent customer service and the ability to work independently.

The duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
• Perform supply process duties including placing new orders, stocking/restocking shelves, inventory maintenance etc.
• Deliver fast, fun and friendly pharmacy service.
• Needs excellent customer service skills and phone skills.
• Ability to handle patient information with accuracy, security and confidentiality.
• Help pharmacists to fill prescriptions and fulfill Prescription requirements of the Patients.
• Resolve insurance issues to provide patient's prescriptions on time.
