Permit Technician

We are currently looking for a Full-Time Permit Technician that can join our team. We are a family owned Screen And Fence business servicing all of South Florida. The position is located here in Royal Palm Beach.

The ideal candidate is someone who is hands-on and thrives in a fast-paced and diversified operation. Experience in the Construction Industry is a major plus, Must be organized, diligent, and driven on a daily basis with a professional and positive attitude at all times. Do not Apply If You Do Not Have Permit Experience Please . Looking For someone who knows permitting this position pays well.

Requirements

• Relative experience in the construction industry

• Proven track record of consistently meeting deadlines

• Computer literacy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office

• Exceptional work ethic and strong attendance record
• Permit Experience A Must
• Uploading of Permits to Municipality's

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide information on the permit process, building department requirements, regulations and procedures

• Assist with residents and contractors in the permit application process

• Preparational & submittal of permit packages to various municipalities in South Florida

• Filing of Notice of Commencements

• Provide customers and homeowners associations with general documents needed for HOA approval

• Schedule inspections

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
• Permit: 1 year (Preferred)
