The Payroll Reporting Analyst utilizes Kiewit tools and technology to gather, arrange and review data to provide payroll/HCM related reports to various stakeholders.

DISTRICT OVERVIEW
The Payroll Reporting Team is responsible for capturing, assessing, and publishing critical data points that reflect the successes and opportunities in our operations. This group is part of the Payroll Services area of KBS.
LOCATION
This position is based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide timely and accurate reporting and analytical support for payroll
- Design effective reporting solutions for various stakeholders
- Provide analytical services to KBS Leadership and Kiewit Departments
- Utilize PowerBI, SQL, or other analytic software with liaison to KDS
- Develop and maintain a network with all levels of the company management
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external Kiewit departments; understands Kiewit’s core business and promote a sense of urgency toward business critical issues
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Support and participate in collaboration activities to promote and implement continuous process improvement
- Perform other job related tasks as needed or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-2 years of Reporting or Business Role experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and recognize discrepancies
- Excellent customer service and collaboration skills; ability to connect and build relationships with others inside and outside the organization and develop highly effective teams and alliances
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish daily work and projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; clearly conveys messages and ideas, gains understanding; generates interest and holds attention, listens and is open to the ideas of others
- Highly motivated and self-directed; initiative and a sense of urgency to get things done
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Open to change and new information; able to rapidly adapt to changing conditions or unexpected obstacles; demonstrates flexibility in thought and action
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills; ability to use logic and reasoning to analyze and identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field
- 1-3 years of Payroll Experience
- SAP Experience
- Prior work experience in a Shared Service Environment
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
- Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
