AHRC NYC is looking to hire a Payroll Administrator immediately. The annual salary for this position is between $37.7k and $43.7k plus a very generous benefits package which includes: FULL MEDICAL PAID BY EMPLOYER...NO COST TO YOU! dental and vision plans; generous paid time off, 403B with employer match, tuition reimbursement and more.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review timecards for all Residential staff (over 700 employees) in agency's time and attendance system for accuracy.
Complete Payroll Change Notices for all transfers/promotions, including employees on Family & Medical Leave/Disability Leave.
Complete all separation notices.
Calculate salaries for all transfers (including promotions).
Ensure distribution of paychecks to Residential sites on bi-weekly basis or as applicable and analyze and research all payroll problems and provides solutions as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree and one-two years related experience.
Capacity to become expert in agency's time & attendance system(s).
Strong communications skills with broad range with stakeholders, including staff, managers, and directors of the department as well as agency-wide Payroll Department personnel.
Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and agency-specific databases.
Ability to generate correspondence and need for strong written communication skills.
Must be well organized and have initiative to work independently.
Must be willing to occasionally work outside of regularly-scheduled hours in order to meet payroll

Pay: $37,700.00 - $43,780.00 per year
