GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision, to perform Security Patrol and crime prevention work for the protection of life and property; to maintain order, enforce laws , protect life and property by performing a combination of duties: responding to calls for service, general patrol, suppressant crime patrol, apprehending and arresting suspects, and protecting crime scenes; and to perform general and specific assignments from superior officers in accordance with established rules and procedures; provide quality service to all in an efficient and professional manner. Perform other duties as required.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED: This position receives direct supervision from the Patrol Sergeant. This position does not supervise any other position.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:

• Corrections: 3 years (Preferred)
• ARMED Security: 4 years (Preferred)
• Law Enforcement: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• SC Armed Security Officer Registration (Preferred)
• SC Drivers' License (Required)
