Essential Job Functions
Collect patient information and co-pays required to initiate an urgent care visit and document such information within the electronic medical record (EMR).- Answers phone in a manner consistent with Bon Secours standards of excellence, appropriately routes calls, schedules patients, and enters necessary information for patient scheduling into the computer system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follows front end revenue cycle check-in standard work, which include: Obtain registration from patients and accurately enters required information into the computer system, Secures signatures on all required forms and updates information accordingly, Registers patients in a timely and accurate manner, Collects missing information from the patient, Collects necessary co-pays and/or collection balances from the patient.
- Maintains a safe and supportive environment by keeping the work area, supplies, and equipment in clean, orderly, and safe manner, ensuring availability and proper functioning of supplies and equipment.
- Participates as an active member of the patient care team, including attendance at clinical huddles.
- Reconciles cash drawer at the close of the day. Schedules follow-up appointment and/or assists with scheduling other services for patients.
- Other duties include but not limited to DOT specimen collection, ordering supplies, cleaning and/or disposing of contaminated supplies, scheduling, and phone triage.

Required Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualifications
- At least one year of face-to-face registration or Customer Service experience.
- Strong oral communication skills, good attention to details, and an ability to multitask.
