Job description

Indianapolis Gastroenterology and Hepatology, a group in the Midwest Region of the GI Alliance, seeks a full time Patient Services Representative to work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, est. A typical day involves the efficient and effective scheduling of patients for consultations, follow-up office appointments and procedures at multiple locations for approximately 19 providers (doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants). This person must represent the practice in a positive manner by providing excellent customer service to our patients and referring physicians. This person will also cross-train at the Front Desk and Check-Out to be able to help when the need arises.

Qualification Requirements:

-Prior medical scheduling experience in a medical practice is preferred.

-Prior experience working with the gMed EMR system is a plus.

-Minimum of two years' experience is medical clinic is required.

-Must possess excellent communication skills.

-Must be able to multi-task.

-Must be detail-oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $21.08 per hour
